What is meant by the term ‘evolution’?
The process by which different living creatures evolved from earlier complex forms.
What is meant by the term ‘environmental responsibility’?
The duty upon humans to respect, care and protect the natural environment.
What is meant by the term ‘sanctity of life’?
The belief that life is scared or special because God created it.
What is meant by the term ‘quality of life’?
The extent to which life is meaningful and pleasurable.
What is meant by the term ‘abortion’?
When a pregnancy is ended by deliberate removal of the foetus from the womb so it does not result in the bith of a child.
What is meant by the term ‘euthanasia’?
‘Good death’, the act of killing a person directly or indirectly because the decision has been reached that death is the best option.
What is meant by the term ‘afterlife’?
Life after death, the belief that existence continues after physical death.
What is meant by the term ‘soul’?
The spiritual aspect of a human, it connects someone to God. It is non-physical and lives on after death.
