Who is Adam Fuss?
Adam was born in 1961, and was born in rural England, before moving to Australia and growing up mostly there. He liked to experiment with a variety of modern and contemporary photo techniques. He eventually gave up the camera all together and uses photogram mostly now.
Who is William Eggleston?
He is an American photographer. He is widely credited in the popularity of colour photography. He is possibly one of the most important photographers in the 20th century.

What is an exhibition you have recently gone to?
Bill Henson exhibition in the National Gallery of Victoria
How would you describe the Bill Henson exhibition?
It was dark and gloomy. All the walls were painted black and it felt as if there was a cool draft in the room.
What is a curator?
The curator designs and prepares the exhibit. In large galleries there may be more than one curator in every field, but in smaller galeries there might only be one specialist curator.
What are some of the responsibilities of the curator?
Researching and interpreting the collection
Planning the exhibition display concepts and themes in advance
Finding all the materials needed for the exhibit; for example lights, carpets
Figuring out costs/copyright
What is subject matter in an artwork?
Subject matter is the objects or matter in the artwork.
What is a silver gelatine print?
Silver Gelatin process is the photography and developing of black and white film pieces.
What is an example of a photoshop editing technique?
To cut out a photo.
Who was the curator in the Bill Henson exhibition?
Bill Bowness. He would have had to take into consideration the style of the photos, and then how the photos would make a person feel. The curator would then want to enhance how the audience would feel to make them feel even more.
What is an SLR camera?
Analog camera. It was the one where you put the film in the camera and take photos.
