The ability of the heart and related structured (blood vessels, blood, lungs, etc.) to supply the necessary energy and oxygen to the muscles in order for them to do their work.
Cardiovascular fitness
The ability of the muscles to lift a mass of weight over a distance, such as lifting ones legs.
Muscular strength
The ability to repeatedly lift a mass of weight over a distance, such as running for prolonged periods of time.
Muscular endurance
The proportions of materials such as muscle, fat, bone and other tissues which make up the body.
Body composition
Refers to the range of movement in any joint or muscle structure in the body.
Flexibility
Your heart rate after you’ve been resting for a period of time.
Resting heart rate
This rate represents an increase from your resting heart rate during activity.
Working heart rate
This heart rate represents the level at which you should be active in order for your body to achieve the best results.
Target heart rate
Includes strength, endurance and flexibility.
Physical dimensions
Includes self-esteem, or personal awareness.
Emotional dimension
Includes sharing, roles and responsibilities to others.
Social dimension
Includes the ability to understand, having knowledge, skills and strategies.
