What are the phases in Marxism?
Phase 1: revolution must take place to over through existing government. Need complete total destruction do that phase 2 can commence.
Phase 2: A dictator or elite leaders must gain complete control over the proletariat (lower class). Then the new government puts people in the common class were ever they want; they’re education, religion, employment, marriage.
Phase 3: achievement of utopia. This phase has never happened because it requires all non communists parties to be destroyed in order for the Com party to achieve total equality.
What is socialism?
A system that advocates the states ownership of land, industry and capital. Communism is a branch of socialism
What is capitalism?
Economic system in which individuals or corporations own land and means of production. USA*
Who are the bourgeois?
The middle-class/upper-class, or owners of land and means of production
Who are the proletariats?
The working class. Poor compared to bourgeois
Who are the Bolsheviks?? FOR MOTHER RUSSIA!!
Russian word for “majority”. Also, the political party that spawned the Bolshevik Revolution, effectively introducing communism in Russia
What are red? “People”
Communist/Bolshevik supporters. Also, “red” is a derogatory term to describe communists
Who are the whites? Can’t say Americans
Those who apposed the Bolshevik regime to take over
What is anarchism?
Society without government, laws, police or other authority System of self control
What is aristocracy?
The privilege of social class whose members possess disproportionately large percentage of society’s wealth, prestige and political influence.
What is Capitalism?
Right-wing political system where the principle means of production and distribution are in private hands
What is Communism?
Extreme left-wing ideology based on the revolutionary socialist teachings of Marx. Collective ownership and planned economy. Each should work to their capability and receive according to their needs
What is a democracy?
Government by the people, usually through elected representatives
What is a dictatorship?
Government by a single person with absolute control of the resources of the state
What is fascism?
Extremely right-wing ideology, extremely nationalistic (Think Nazis)
What’s Marxism?
Developed by Marx and Engels, it proposes that all is subject to change and resistance to change necessitates the overthrow of the system through class struggle.
What’s Oligarchy??
A system of government where virtually all power is held in a small number of wealthy people who shape the policy to benefit themselves.

Left-wing political system where the principle mean of production, distribution and exchange are in common ownership.
