What is tourism?
The movement of people to countries or places outside their usual environment for either personal or business reasons
What is outbound tourism!?
To leave their own country and travel to a different one for the purpose of tourism

To enter the country to visit for the purpose of tourism

Travel and tourism organisations can be PRIVATE businesses, PUBLIC or GOVERNMENT run organisations and voluntary organisations or charities
-often these different types work in partnership with one another

Most tourism businesses are part of the private sector
-not under government control
-aim to make a profit
-staffed by paid employees
-if they fail to profit,the usually stop trading

What is a PLC public limited company!?
A business owned by shareholders that can sell shares to the public
-it’s shares are listed on the stock exchange
-if the business makes a profit. Shareholders receive a dividend
-DIVIDEND depends on the profit made snd the amount of shares owned
-shareholders have limited liability
What is unlimited liability
If your business goes bust there is no limit to the amount of money that you can loose
What is limited Liability
If the business goes bust their is a limit to the amount of money that you can loose
- can only take what is owned by business
