Intentional Abuse?
When the person deliberately intends to abuse an individual.

An intoxicated patient is not complying, therefore they need to be held down.

A patient being treated without values of care in place.
What is Legislation?
A collection of laws passed by parliament, which can prosecute individuals who break the law.
What is Policy?
A plan that outlines necessary actions individuals must follow. Ensures settings are complying with legislation.
What are Procedures?
A procedure explains a specific action plan for carrying out a policy. Procedures tell employees how to deal with a situation and when’.
