A

I learned that if it is +/- 2 than results should NOT be reported. If it is between +/- 1 and +/- 2 than they can be reported but let a doctor know about it if something is wrong. If it is under +/- 1 than you can just report it.

A

It is used to input values through instrumentation evaluation tests. Westergard rules show that if there are any patterns of suspicion then they must be reported.

A

A

It is a society of clinical pathology established in 1928 to certify lab professionals. It is called the American Society for Clinical Pathology.

A

There are different levels of testing. POCT, Point of Care tests are easy done on the bedside. Provider Performed Microscopy PPM. Physicians office lab (POL’s).

There is moderate and high complexity.

Moderate: on the job training

High: Requires degree

A
