- Unconscious makes decisions, holds memories, beliefs, etc that we are not aware of
Acculturation
spreading one idea from one culture to another or new ideas coming to a culture
Enculturation
new ideas staying within one culture, not going outside of the culture
Symbolic interactionism
individual behave based on how a group of people expects them to behave ex: school, students are expected to do school work during school

Female overpowering men
