This study’s what human authors said also what God reveals to them.

The official list of books in the Bible

Scriptures genres; poetry, myth, law codes, historical narratives, teaching narratives, parables, and miracle stories
Inspiration
The holy spirt guides the writers of the Bible
Pentateuch
The first 5 books of the Bible
Revalatiton
God telling us his plan through creation, events, and Jesus
Scriptures
Any sacred writing the old and New Testament
Testament
Contract with God where we are committed of a new way of life.
Historical context
The history of when the book was written
Literary context
The Bible contains many books of different generes
Cultural context
The language and customs in the Old Testament seem odd to us but we’re perfectly normal at the time.
Unity of the whole scripture (salvation) context
There is a common theme holding the different books of the Bible together
Living tradition context
This context recognizes that the scriptures need to be interpreted within a community of faith
Harmony between elements of the faith context
Contradiction occurs when ideas appear to be in disagreement with one another
