Why is systematic sampling not always possible in a fieldwork enquiry?

A

animals in fields - so dangerous to cross
difficult to get to - because of dense vegetation
land may be privately owned - and part of someones garden
might be dangerous - traffic
may not be appropriate when doing questionnaires in an urban area
