A science that studies and investigates all things in their ultimate causes, reasons and principles based on human reason alone.
-it deals with our longings, desires, aspirations and pursuit to understand others, ourselves, the world and god(God)

Serves as a collective to our spontaneous ways of looking at things; it provokes people to an action
-corrects our way of thinking

Signifies a body of rules
Enables man to produce something
Like a poetry, it’s painting a world of reality whose meaning is exclusive to the poem or the poet himself

One writes the meaning of his very own personal life
-personal assessment of their life and how they see reality

Culture is a collective representation of people’s way of life and thinking
-pertains to the customs and traditions of people
PHILOSOPHY AS SCIENCE
- Sciences have fixed answers while philosophy answers are open-ended
- while science seeks to obtain exactitude and certainty, philosophy entertains mystery
