It is a form of discourse by means of which we try to persuade others about the truth or falsity of a disputed matter.
Argumentation
This is the testimony of a person of a witness who firsthand saw the incident.
Direct Evidence
does not directly prove that the defendant is guilty of an offense, however it is evidence of another fact that could lead to the conclusion or inference that the defendant is guilty.
Indirect evidence

- Historical papers or statements made by reliable people
We are prone to believe a statement if we accept a reasonable cause for it
Antecedent probability
when you claim the two things that differ from each other but perform similar functions produce the same effect.
Analogy
based on the fact that what has been true under identical or similar circumstances will be true of the present circumstances.
Example
appeals to the emotion; it seeks to produce action.
Persuasion
appeals mainly to logical reason; it seeks to move the mind.
Conviction
presents only one side of a proposition and is a sustained,
organized attempt to make others accept a decision and act in
accordance with that decision.
Propaganda
a type of argument that uses coercion.
brainwashing
is the use of force or the threat of force.
Coercion
is the process of using existing knowledge to draw conclusions, make predictions, or construct explanations.
