Q

Does a sensitivity to a substance involve the immune system, explain your answer.

A

A sensitivity or intolerance does not involve the immune system. A food sensitivity involves the digestive system, possibly causing gas, bloating, diarrhea, cramping, and nausea. Lactose intolerance for example is not an allergic reaction but the inability to digest the sugar and dairy.
