1 Power
Alternator not cracked bent or broken. No loose or missing nuts and bolts and secured to the truck. Wires are not worn, torn or frayed and have a good connection. Alternator is belt driven
2 Belts
Belts are not worn, torn, or frayed and have no more than 1/2” - 3/4” of play at the center of the belt.
Coolantor reservoir
Not crack bent or broken. No loose or missing nuts or bolts. Secured to the truck and not leaking. I would check it here and fill it there.
4 Hoses
Have no abrasions, bubbles, or cuts. The fittings are tight and not leaking.
5 Water pump
Not cracked bent or broken. No loose or missing nuts and bolts. Secured to the truck and not leaking. Water pump is belt driven.
6 Oil
This is where I check it, this is where I fill it with the engine off using manufacturer’s specifications located on the frame. The engine has no major leaks and it’s free of debris.
7 air compressor and governor
Not cracked bent or broken. No loose or missing nuts or bolts. Secured to the truck and not leaking. Air compressor is gear driven.
8 air compressor hoses
No abrasions bubbles or cuts. The fittings are tight and not leaking.
9 power steering pump
Not cracked, bent or broken. No loose or missing nuts or bolts. Secured to the truck and not leaking. Power steering pump is gear driven
10 power steering reservoir
Not cracked bent or broken. No loose or missing nuts or bolts. Secured to the truck and not leaking. This is where I checked the level and fill it.
11 steering shaft and U-Joints
Not cracked bent or broken no loose or missing bolts. U-joints are properly lubed, free of debris and have no signs of excessive wear
12 Pitman Arm
It’s not cracked pain or broken, no loose or missing nuts or bolts. All Castle nuts are tight and cotter keys are present and everything is well lubed.
13 drag link
Not cracked, bent or broken. No loose or missing nuts or bolts. All Castle nuts are tight and cotter keys are present and everything is well lubed.
14 steering arm
Not cracked, bent or broken. No loose or missing nuts or bolts. All Castle nuts are tight and cotter keys are present and everything is well lubed.
15 steering knuckle
Not cracked, bent or broken. No loose or missing nuts or bolts. All Castle nuts are tight and cotter keys are present and everything is well lubed.
16 Tie Rod
Not cracked bent or broken. No loose or missing nuts or bolts. All Castle nuts are tight and cotter keys are present and everything is well lubed.
17 Tie Rod end
Not cracked bent or broken. No loose or missing nuts or bolts. All Castle nuts are tight and cotter keys are present and everything is well lubed.
18 ball joints
Not cracked, bent or broken. No loose or missing nuts or bolts. All Castle nuts are tight and cotter keys are present and everything is well lubed.
19 Frame
Not cracked bent or broken no loose or missing nuts or bolts no on unauthorized holes are welds.
20 Shock absorbers
Not cracked bent or broken. No loose or missing nuts or bolts secured to the truck not leaking and has good rubber bushings.
21 center cap
Not cracked vendor broken. No looser missing nuts or bolts. No shiny metal which would indicate looseness.
22 U bolts
Not cracked bench or broken. No looser missing nuts and bolts. Secured to the truck and not leaking and has good rubber bushings.
23 spacers
Not cracked banner broken no loose or missing that’s the bolts no shiny metal which would indicate looseness.
24 Bushings
Not cracked then or broken. No loose or missing nuts or bolts. No shiny metal which would indicate looseness
25 leaf springs
Not cracked meant or broken. No loose or missing nuts and bolts. No shiny metal which would indicate looseness
26 Shackles
Not crack bent or broken. No looser missing nuts or bolts. No shiny metal which would indicate looseness.
27 hangers
Not cracked bent or broken. No loose or missing nuts and bolts. No shiny metal which would indicate looseness
28 spring mounts
Not cracked bent or broken no loose or missing nuts and bolts no shiny metal which would indicate looseness
29 air brake lines
No abrasions bubbles or cuts fittings are tight and not leaking
30 brake chamber
Not cracked bent or broken. No looser missing nuts or bolts. Center clamp is tight and not leaking
