Explain the differences between でも、しかし、けど、が

A

-でも is used at the BEGINNING of the sentence and SEMI formal/casual

-しかし is ALSO used at the BEGINNING of the sentence and is formal

-けど connects two clauses (semi-formal/casual) (けど + nouns/NA adj. = だけど

-が connects two clauses & is used at the END of a sentence formal stem i.e. ですが・ますが
