guides for residential or commercial use.

DPD Framework prep by counties, National Parks and Unitary authorities.
What is SHLAA?
Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessments
Who prepares SHLAA?
LPA and stakeholder’s inc. housebuilders.

What are Unitary Development Plans?
Emerging Planning Guidance on specific subjects. P1: Strategic Policies. P2: Detailed Policies. Based on 10 year period. Structure plan and local plan.

What are Green Belts?
Functional is openness, prevent sprawl, prevent merging of towns, preserve historic town character. Permitted agriculture forestry, sports and outdoor use, limited extension to existing buildings. ANY DEVELOPMENT ON GREEN BELT MUST GO TROUGH SofS.
