Q

2 examples showing how government is no longer dominated by the two major parties

A
  1. 2010 - 2015 conservative/lib dem coalition where the conservatives couldn’t gain a majority. Lib Dem’s opposed many policies including the privatisation of key motorways
  2. In 2017 the conservatives again fell short of a majority and formed a confidence and supply agreement with the democratic unionist party that won 10 seats
