What is a constitution?
A
A set of rules, e.g. those you would find at a sports club, perhaps governing how a committee is appointed, or the ways in which members or those managing the club should act.

Constitutions may be
A
Written (e.g. USA, France, Germany…) ( rights are in a single document)
Unwritten (e.g. UK, Israel, New Zealand) (rights are set out in many documents)
and
Republican (Head of State is an elected president)
Monarchical (Head of State is a King, Queen, Emperor - but most power may reside with parliament)
