Q

SC SD HVLA

A

doc one hand on SC, other hand grasping elbow and pulling arm w/ cephalad traction

thrust on SC and pull cephalad on patients arm simulatenously

adducted/elevated SC = inferior thrust

16
Q

boot-jack technique

A

cradle leg at calcaneus, other hand wraps around medial foot

doc leans back inducing further flexion of hip and knee while distracting the calcaneus from talus and induces a slight plantarflexion into BLT

17
Q

posterior fibular head BLT

A

thumb on superolateral fibular head, other hand on distal fibula; slightly flex knee

thumb applies pressure towards the foot while other hand inverts the foot to BLT

18
Q

anterior fibular head HVLA

A

pillow under knee and doc contralateral

cephalad hand on anterior fibular head, caudad hand on foot

supinate foot (invert/IR/plantarflex) to RB and treat w/ MET, on final MET thrust into table and supinate foot

19
Q

posterior fibular head HVLA

A

leg flexed, doc one hand on fibular head other hand on foot and pronates it (evert/ER/dorsiflex)

thrust anterior on fibular head while rapidly flexing the knee

20
Q

tibiotalar BLT

A

press down on distal tibia and find BLT, IR/ER tibia for balanced point

21
Q

tibiotalar gapping

A

fingers crossed on dorsal foot, thumbs on ball of feet

exert caudad traction and thrust into barrier

22
Q

anterior tibia on talus HVLA

A

one hand cups calcaneus, other hand on anteiror tibia

pull calcaneus caudad and thrust tibia into table

23
Q

hiss whip

A

abduct LE off table and flex knee

thrust downard through thumbs

24
Q

plantar navicular SD HVLA

A

one hand around foot, other hand bracing calcaneus and pinning it to table

thrust = eversion/rotational thrust w/ hand in contact w/ forefoot

25
Q

plantar cuboid SD HVLA

A

one hand around foot, other hand bracing calcaneus

thrust = inversion/rotational thrust w/ hand in contact w/ forefoot

26
Q

plantar metatarsal SD HVLA

A

thrust upward on distal metatarsal

27
Q

dorsal metatarsal SD HVLA

A

thrust downward on proximal metatarsal
