Explain the terms “Georeferencing” and “Editing” in the content of spatial data analysis in GIS:
Georeferencing: Georeferencing is the process of assigning spatial coordinates (latitude and longitude or other coordinate systems) to spatial data that initially lacks such information. This is typically done by aligning the spatial data with a known coordinate system or by referencing it to known geographic features, such as landmarks or control points.
Editing: Editing refers to the process of modifying or manipulating spatial data within a GIS environment. This can include tasks such as adding, deleting, or modifying features (points, lines, or polygons) in vector datasets, or adjusting the attributes associated with these features.
