What is the definition of diplomatic status?
It refers to certain privileges, immunities, and facilities of all the members of the diplomatic mission recognized within the receiving State and due to their official capacity.
Why does the international community concede to the diplomatic status?
As stated in the preamble of the VCDR 1961, states believe that it will contribute to the development of friendly relationships among states. When we get certain advantages, we will do our job in a better way.
How can members of the mission must know that they are protected, not only physical but also from the municipal law of the receiving state.
