a piece of writing, such as an article from a magazine or newspaper, a book, or poem.
Structure means the way something is built or put together (written)
Chronological text structure
Chronological means time order, so the text is written in the order of when events happened; (First, Second, Next, Finally)
Problem/Solution Text Structure
The text states a problem and then provides solutions to the problem
Compare/Contrast Text Structure
The article or text is written to show how one item or topic is different from another item or topic.
Sequential order
The text is written as a series of events that happen one after another: in sequence
Cause and Effect
The text is written to show how one event caused another event to happen.
