What is the case study of Clive Wearing?
A
- contracted a brain infection in 1985 and was left with a memory span of only 10 seconds
- he was unable to recognise people he had seen or things that has just been said moments earlier
- however, his musical ability was still intact
- he is still able to read music and play the piano, he even once conducted his former choir again
- his procedural memory seemed intact, but his episodic and semantic memory appeared to be lost
