  • Can sell to individuals or businesses
  • Tangible
  • Some businesses are part merchandising part service
  • Ex: Retailers: Best Buy, Apple

  • Business that produces or makes something
  • Buys raw materials and uses labor and equipment to make a finished product for merchandisers
  • Ex: Laptops, Toyota
