Treated with pacemaker (TCP)

1st degree: slowed av conduction
2nd degree: Missed beats to ventricles
3rd degree: Complete block to ventricles

Treat with IV Atropine/Isoprenaline for emergency, TCP for long treatment

Tachyarrythmias

Answer 3

Supraventricular are most common, treat with adenosine, verapamil or digoxin
Ventricular are most dangerous, treat with lidocaine or magnesium sulfate

Atrial fibrillation

A fast irregularly irregular heartbeat
Common cause of stroke
Treat with rate controllers and anti arrythmics

Atrial flutter
