obstruction of eustachian tube. ear effusion may or may not be present

excess mobility in small areas
healed perforation or an atrophic tympanic membrane
amber or yellow color
serous fluid in middle ear (air bubbles common too)
blue or deep red
blood in middle ear
chalky white
infection in middle ear (can also be red)
redness
infection in middle ear (can also be white) or prolonged crying
dullness
fibrosis
white flecks, dense white plaques
healed inflammation. you’d think it’d be maybe fibrosis, but nah fibrosis =dullness
air bubbles suggest
serious fluid in middle ear (sidenote: also common to see a amber/yellow tympanic membrane)
