If somebody ALLOWS themselves to be carried in a conveyance taken without consent, but do not know it has been taken, Are they guilty of this offence?
No, they are not guilty until they find out it has been taken without consent.
If a suspect finds out a vehicle has been taken without consent and then immediately leaves the vehicle. Are they guilty of this offence?
No because as soon as they found out they left the vehicle.

Definition of TWOC
A person commits an offence if without having the consent of the owner or other lawful authority, he takes a conveyance for his own or another’s use, or knowing that the conveyance has been taken without such authority, drives it or allows himself to be carried in or on it.

Yes. Only when they get on it.
Does a person commit TWOC if he believes he has the lawful authority to do it?
No he does not.
Does a person commit TWOC if he believes that he would have the owners consent of the owner knew?
No he does not commit TWOC.
