A

Wyatt’s Rebellion made LDG’s continued presence a threat to Mary.

28

29
Q

How did Wyatt’s Rebellion end?

A

Following the plot’s discovery, most of the leaders were arrested or fled the country.

Wyatt, the only one remaining, gathered a force and marched on London. However, Mary was able to rouse Londoners to her cause through a speech and Wyatt’s force was unable to reach her, with him surrendering and being executed shortly after.

30
Q

How did Mary deal with Elizabeth following Wyatt’s Rebellion?

A

She was confined to London Tower and put on trial for her suspected involvement, but ultimately pardoned.
