What happened with the golden apple?
Eris brought the golden apple to Peleus and Thetis’ wedding because she wasn’t invited. Athena, Aphrodite and Hera all wanted to claim the apple for themselves, but Zeus didn’t want to choose between them.
What happened with the judgement of Paris
Zeus chose Paris to decide who should win the golden apple. Each of the goddesses offered Paris a gift. Hera-wealth and power, Athena-wisdom, and Aphrodite-love of the most beautiful woman.
Why was Menelaus angry?
Because Helen, the most beautiful woman, was married to the king of Sparta, king Menelaus. Paris went to Sparta hoping for Helen and left Sparta with Helen. They ran to Troy. When king Menelaus found out, he was angry and raised a powerful army.
What happened in the later years of the war?
It was a drawn stalemate between Greece and Troy. However the trojans only started to win when Achilles-Greeces best warrior- best friend dressed up in armour and got killed by Paris older brother, hector. This caused Achilles to join the fight and eventually died to a shot by Paris to his Achilles heel.
