Trig Flashcards
what is the trigonometric identity
TanΘ=sinΘ/casΘ
What is the Pythagorean identity?
cos²Θ+sin²Θ=1
What are the double angle formulae (sin)
sin2Θ=2sinΘcosΘ
What are the double angle formulae (cos)
cos2Θ = cos²Θ - sin²Θ
(which also equals to)
2cos²Θ - 1 = 1 - 2sin²Θ

g(x)=?
f(x)=acosb(x-c)+d
A - affects the y, stretches / compresses (timesing by 2 makes it longer)
B - affects the x, stretches / compresses (timesing by 2 makes it more compressed)
C - affects the x, its inverted but note that this negatative which which just goes and throws it in for a loop, like cmon man, just have it be inverted)
d - transposes it in the y direction
