The area of the Americas discovered by Europeans in the fifteenth century
Why was the triangular trade called the triangular trade?
Because the ships travelled from Britain to Africa to the West Indies and then back to Britain.
What was carried on each part of the trip?
Britain brought pots, pans, guns and cloths to Africa traded for slaves, the slaves would then be brought to the west indies and then the ships would bring back sugar, tobacco and cotton that was made there back to britian.
What did African rulers do to people in their village/home?
Sell them as slaves to the Europeans

By auction (public sales sold to the highest bidder) and scramble (public sales were buyers rush forward to claim the ones they wanted to buy).
