Triangles and Angles Flashcards
What is Perimeter?
The distance around an object
What is Area?
The distance within an object
What is a triangle?
It is a type of polygon and has three sides.
What is a scalene triangle?
When all three sides of a triangle are different.

When a line intersects two or more lines.
What is a corresponding angle(s)
When two or more angles make up 90 degrees.
What is a supplementary angle(s)
When two or more angles make up 180 degrees.
What is an adjacent angle(s)
Two or more angles that, share a ray and are next to each other.
What are Linear pairs?
The two angles that make up 180 degrees. For example, if angle A and angle B make up 180 degrees, angle A and B are a Linear Pair.
What is an obtuse angle?
An angle that is 90 degrees +.
What is a right angle?
An angle that is exactly 90 degrees.
What is an acute angle?
