1. A sum reasonably sufficient to cover his expenses travelling to and from the court; and
2. Such sum by way of compensation for loss of time.

Not mor than 7 days and not less than 3 days before the start of trial.

What are the grounds for summary judgment?

The court may give summary judgment against a D if D has no real prospect of successfully defending the claim/issue and there is no other compelling reason why the case/issue should be disposed of at a trial.
