Claimant sunbathed in the carpark and so the defendant reversed over her legs with his car, causing her injury. Made a claim under negligence have a limitation period of 3 years.

A
Police officer grabbed a woman’s arm. Question of whether this was acceptable conduct or amounted to battery. Found that it was unacceptable so it was battery.

Two boys play fighting. One damaged their back. No hostility so it did not amount to battery.
