What did you learn from the class?

A

Throughout the term, the trends in fitness class emphasized the importance of physical and mental health, taught through various projects and notes. From this class, I have learned how substitutions made to a dish/meal can take a unhealthy item, and give it more nutritional value without changing the taste. I also learned how to create an effective workout plan that can work the key muscles found within the body. Through this class, I found how the five components of fitness including Cardiovascular Endurance, Muscular Strength, Muscular Endurance, Flexibility, and Muscular composition can work hand in hand to overall provide a lean physic that can allow one to feel healthy and happy.
