Name the successes of the league

A
  • the slavery commission stopped a huge amount of human trafficking
  • the Aland Island between Sweden and Finland where both claimed as their own. the league decided that it should belong to Finland even though 95% of the population were ethnic Swedes
  • The Corfu incident was were an Italian ambassador was shot and killed in Greece when inspecting the border in an act of rage (not war or so he claimed) Mussolini ordered occupation of Corfu. In need Greece appealed to the league and after an inspection it was decided that Greece would pay 50million lire as they didn’t do a throw inspection of the shooting
