10 Feb 1918: Trotsky announced that Russia would end the war but would not sign the treaty
18 Feb 1918: The Germans resumed the offensive
3 Mar 1918: Soviet delegates signed the treaty as Lenin threatened to resign
What were Russia reparations
Territory: lost Poland, Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania and Ukraine. Land was given to Turkey, cutting Russia off from the Black Sea
Economic: Six thousand million marks

Industrial: 32% agricultural land, 85% sugar beet land, 54% industrial undertakings, 89% coal mines
