reactive attachment disorder

dementia

in elderly, short/long term memory, impairment in abstract thinking, impaired judgement, change in personality, problems with language, motor skills, recognition
mixed episode
both major depressive and manic sx’s for at least a week
agoraphobia
fear of being unable to escape from a place or situation; open places, or in the event of a panic attack
Generalized anxiety disorder
ongoing unrealistic worry and concern about two or more situations such as job responsibilities or health of family members, with no apparent cause for concern. Lasts at least 6 months and occurs more days than not.
somatization disorder
begins by age 30 and lasting several years. Need 8 sx’s; 4 pain, 2 stomach, 1 neurological, 1 sexual
undifferentiated somatoform disorder
having one or more physical complaints that last at least 6 months and not due to a medical condition
hypoactive sexual desire disorder
not having sexual fantasies, interests or desire for sexual activity
sexual aversion disorder
the aversion to, avoidance of, and lack of desire to have sexual contact
dyspareunia
genital pain during or after sexual intercourse, either in men or women
vaginismus
reoccurring involuntary muscle spasms in the outer third of vagina interfering with sexual intercourse
narcolepsy
daily sleep attacks occurring over a 3 month period
primary hypersomnia
feeling sleepy or falling asleep during the day even though there is adequate sleep at night.
adjustment disorder
must develop within 3 months of stressor and last no longer than 6 months following the end of the stressor
