avulsed teeth

what should you do with a tooth which has been knocked out
A
put in fresh cold milk/saliva, do not allow to dry out, wash for 10secs under water if obvious debris, only handle the crown -not the root
re-implant as soon as possible

what material is used
A
0.6mm stainless steel, measured to fit avulsed tooth and two adjacent, bend with adams pliers
measure length with floss

procedure
A
cut and bend sufficient wire
acid etch three teeth for 10 secs, prime and bond
apply composite to 3 teeth, avoiding contact areas
sink contoured wire into composite
shape and cure composite, adding thin layer on top
smooth rough composite and wire ends
