Trauma Random Flashcards

Q
SOOD: contraindications for reimplantation after avulsion
A
- special consideration groups for infective endocarditis (if not in special consideration group then overall you should be fine bc you’ll still be giving ABx cover)
^^^^ we also don’t do hall crowns for caries or pulpotomies in these pts, but it’d be fine if you were doing PFM placement for MIH bc it’s not a carious process - Immunocompromised patients
- Pts with severe learning difficulties, making dental management very hard
2
Q
When do you prescribe ABx for avulsion
A
Vast majority of paeds patients get ABX prescribed bc you can’t guarantee the tooth was clean when reimplanting
3

When would you not carry out a trauma stamp
A
