Sensibility tests

- Involved teeth and opposing
- Cold test > ept in young pts
- pulp might be nonresponsive for several weeks
- Blood supply might be disrupted and could take 6 months to return

Repositioning Intrusive Luxation
A
- Intrusive luxation strips the PDL away and repositioning an intrusion may strip away more PDL
- Want to do very quickly after intrusion****

Replanting Avulsed teeth
A
If not replanted within 60 mins than high chance of not succeding from a periodontal stand point
Avulsed teeth have the highest chance for necrosis and infection
Want to minimize inflammatory damage, attachment damage, pulpal infection

A
Systemic AB may be used for avulsed teeth to prevent root resorption, exception
