EXPLAIN TRANSPORTATION IN PLANTS
just like humans plants also need to transport nutrients,water,minerals and salts.water and minerals absorbed from the soil by the roots move up the stem and leaves through tube like tissues known as xylem,absorption and transportation of water is a continious process which occurs due to transpiration.transpirtation is the process by which plants lose water through the stomata.transpirtation create a loss of water in leaves which creates a pressure and pulls water from the roots through the xylem of the stem all the way tp the leaves. the food manufactured in the leaves reaches all the parts of the plant through a process called translocation.translocation occurs through another set of tube like tissues known as phloem
phloem and xylem are known as vascular bundles or conducting tissues.
WHAT IS THE EXCRETORY SYSTEM
all living organisims produce chemical waste products this is a by product of various life proccess that occur in the body.these wastes are often toxic and need to be removed from the body.the proccess by which metabolic waste products are removed from the body is known as exretion.. the organs involved in exretion form the excretory system
EXPLAIN THE EXCRETORY SYTEM IN ANIMALS
In unicellular organisims like amoeba paracemium and lower like hyrdra and spinges some waste products are excreted by the process of diffusion through their body surface.in hyrdra excess fluid and waste is excreted through its mouth. in sponges they have special cells to push excess waste out.larger organisims have special organs for excerition
EXPLAIN EXCRETION IN HUMANS
The organs involved in excreting waste proudcts in humans are skin,lungs and kidneys. the lungs help in the excretion of gaseous waste products, the main gas waste excreted by the lungs is carbon dioxide which is a waste product of repsirarion in cells throughout the body. skin helps in the excretion of excess salts and water in the form of salt.the excretion of nitrogen containing wastes -uric acid,urea mainly takes place through the urinary ystem which consitst of urthera, uretra,kidney and bladder, we have one pair of bean shaped kidneys which filters waste products from the blood and forms urine
