what is the transatlantic slave trade?
is many black Africans would travel to Africa to south Africa and the Caribbean between the sixteenth and nineteenth centuries. once they reached there destination they were sold and put to work for the rest of their life
describe the life of a enslaved person
they had very dirty living conditions

slave trade was abolished in 1807 by the British parliament
they made it illegal to buy and sell slaves.
slaves helped out by lawyers who were against slavery went to court to claim their freedom
more and more judges were impressed by the slaves’ arguments allowing them to go free.
