What is a Traffic Offence Report?
(T.O.R)
•A REPORT given to the DRIVER who has commited a ROAD TRAFFIC OFFENCE
• MINOR offences
• Allows police to quickly process the driving offence
What are the 6 stages for issuing a T.O.R?
- Confirm drivers identity
- Check documents via PNC
- Complete the front page of T.O.R
- Record driving license number
- Give a verbal NIP if appropriate
- Check T.O.R is filled in correctly
What is section 34 RTA 1988?
OFF ROAD DRIVING
• Without lawful authority DRIVES an MPV on
