if traffic lights do not work…
- come to a full stop then continue according to right-of-way rules unless told otherwise by officer
steady red traffic light
- stop until light turns green
- if green arrow is shown w/ red light, turn towards the arrow
- u can make a left turn when u turn from a one-way road into another one-way
flashing red traffic light
- full stop then proceed when safe
- do not go in direction of red arrow, wait till it turns off or light turns green
steady yellow traffic light
- be prepared to stop, light will turn red

- yellow arrow means be prepared to stop

- u cannot go across the lines except to turn left to enter/leave highway

- in locations where the solid white line that separates the diamond lane is replaced by a broken white line, u can enter the diamond lane if u make a right turn at the next intersection
