Pitta
In balance: Leads to contentment and intelligence.
Out of balance: Can cause ulcers and anger.
Energy that controls growth in the body. It supplies water to all body parts, moisturizes the skin, and maintains the immune system.
Kapha
In balance: Expressed as love and forgiveness.
Out of balance: Can lead to insecurity and envy
medical textbook that says diseases are caused by evil spirits, and you treat disease by dispersing the spirits with rituals or spells

Recognized that prevention was the best cure for many diseases, and he recommended keeping your humors in balance in order to stay healthy.
