Selling goods and services to another country.

The value of the exports (price x quantity)
Quotas
A limit on quantity e.g. a limit on the quantity that can be imported
Tariff
A tax on imports
Free Trade
Trade between nations that has no barriers to trade.
Protectionism
Trade between nations that has barriers to trade - to protect their own economy from cheap imports.
Appreciation
A rise in the exchange rate (floating exchange rate)
Depreciation
A fall in the exchange rate (floating exchange rate)
