For the past tense with ‘have’, as in ‘I have spoken’, use ‘haver’ (the diving board from which you dive into the past). For -ar verbs you dive into -ado, but if it is not an -ar verb you dive into -ido. The endings for ‘haber’ are like the endings for ‘will’ (-ré, -remos, -rá, -rán, -rás), but you replace the ‘r’ with ‘h’: he, hemos, ha, han, has.
