Hard Pull

Answer 1

A) If initial pull us unsuccessful (Attempt 1)
B) Reach across body with left hand in a punching motion to assist right hand pulling the ripcord (Attempt 3)
C) If unsuccessful, perform cutaway procedures

Question 2

Floating Ripcord

Answer 2

A) Look during normal pull sequence and identify malfunction (Attempt 1)
B) Trace ripcord cable housing with index finger and thumb of right hand toward ripcord cable and make an “O” around ripcord cable
C) Trace ripcord cable to ripcord handle and pull to full arm extension (Attempt 2)
D) If unsuccessful, perform cutaway procedures

Question 3

Pack Closure

Answer 3

A) After the jumper pulls the main ripcord, raise the right shoulder and return to neutral body position
B) If after 2 seconds the main parachute does not deploy, raise the right shoulder again and return to neutral body position
C) If after another 2 seconds the main parachute still does not deploy, perform cutaway procedures
