  1. MOA: naftifine is a broad spectrum antifungal believed to interfere w/sterol biosynthesis similar to terbinafine
  2. SE: burning, stinging, dryness, erythema, pruritis, rash
  3. Uses: tinea pedis/cruris/corporis
  4. CI: not for opthalmic use, no significant interactions

  1. MOA: similar to other azoles, activity against trichophyton, epidermophyton, microsporum, candida, cryptococcus, aspergillus
  2. Use: tinea pedis (4wks), vulvovaginal candidiasis (2 weeks), monistat 7 vaginal tablets (7 days).
  3. Miconazole claimed to be superior to Nystatin for yeast infections
